Center for Financial Social Work
Our Founder
Financial Social WorkFinancial Therapy Support Groups are the culmination of my work over the past fourteen years, as I created first “Femonomics” and then the Financial Social Work discipline.

reetaFemonomics” (the gender of money) and Financial Social Work began in the mid 1990's.  Over the years my work predominently focused on teaching and training  social workers and non-social workers to do the work I had created, with their clients.  While I worked individually with clients, in my own private practice, my dream was to bring my experiential model of ONGOING education, motivation and support to clients across the U.S. and around the world which we are now doing through our online groups.

Financial Therapy Support Groups are all about HOPE, HELP and CHANGE. My joy, passion and excitement for these groups is surpassed only by the enthusiasm of all the group members who finally have a safe and private place, and a cost effective method for sharing their journey to sustainable long-term financial behavioral change, with others in similar circumstances.   We invite you to join us.

If you would like to know more about the philosophy upon which the groups are based, go here. Below is more recent information on my own journey to creating Financial Therapy Support Groups:
